Cabinets are used to house IT equipment. They differ from an ordinary cabinet by a large load capacity (more than 1 ton), standardized dimensions for installing different types of (server, network) equipment within the framework of one cabinet, and the presence of a large number of accessories for laying cables, placing equipment and cooling.
Design features may include glass or perforated doors, the ability to remove side panels or complete disassembly, cable entry brushes, and more. One of the main parameters is its height, which can start from several units (for switching equipment) and reach 50 units (for placing data center equipment).
